Restructuring The Brain Through Meditation

Eastern metaphysical beliefs consider the origins of our universe the one energy of reality as alluded to by science through the unified field theory, manifested itself after the big bang and the point of creation into a type of duality. Thus, opposites such as night-day, black-white, hard-soft are dependent on each other for their survival and existence.
Eastern mystical philosophy, argue it is the battle in our brain between the opposites that influence the universal creation. This battle between pairs of opposites is also identical to the structure of the human brain. Looking at the structure of the brain it is divided into two unbalanced hemispheres between right and left, reflecting the metaphysical thought of duality and a state called brain lateralization.
Our brain absorbs and perceives reality in a very structured and regimental way, thus there is a tendency to interpret data as separate and opposite opposed to the connected and whole as taught by spiritual teachers of the past and the very few today. It is also worth mentioning, scientist today are beginning to endorse and explore the role of spirituality combined with science through quantum physics.
The dual structure of our brain, combined with brain lateralization, prompts us to see and experience ourselves as separate from and most times in opposition to the rest of the living world, instead of experiencing a connection between us all and everything else as one organism.
As children the environment we grow up with to a large degree determines the programming we experience and the neural network [http://www.meditationeveryday.com.au/manifesting-abundance] of the brain structure. In addition a strict tendency towards constant and incessant lectures to move towards pleasure and away from pain, to seek this and avoid that and to do good opposed to bad etc, etc ...
Excess amounts of brain lateralization results in a greater feeling of separation leading to higher levels of fear, anxiety, stress and isolation.
Any kind of focusing will bring about a degree of brain alignment. Thus the greater you focuses the greater the synchronization and the deeper the meditative state.
Meditation practiced on a regular basis harnesses the skills to more ambient meditative states lowering the levels of stress and feeling of separation by aligning and balancing both sides of the brain hemispheres.
Over time the brain learns to create new neural pathways and structures connecting the two sides of the brain and allowing you to alter your state and consciousness [http://www.meditationeveryday.com.au/higher-consciousness] whether during a meditative session or not and remaining there for longer periods of time.
The greater the synchronization of the brain achieved through meditation the higher the threshold level for what you are able to deal with leading to greater immunization to stress and other related ailments.
By changing the perception through meditation of the outside world and aligning the brain's two hemispheres it is less able to divide reality into sections determined by childhood and environmental programming.
The benefits of meditation are very clear however, taking your meditation to a higher level produces some profound results as dualities become less divided, unity and connection becomes a greater reality allowing you to experience life as one. Life becomes less stressful, fearful and judgmental, allowing you to better cope with life's challenges without some desperate need of constant approval from others.
This is living life to the full without restrictions and limitations of past programming and structures based on the concept of separation.
